Where should this redirect?

[edit]
The issue is now resolved.
The following discussion has been closed. Please do not modify it.

User:Pizzadeliveryboy has changed this from redirecting to Mohandas Gandhi to redirecting to Gandhi (disambiguation). I think that any reference to Gandhi without specificity nearly always refers to Mohandas Gandhi, so this should redirect there as per WP:D#Confusion User:Gurubrahma has now changed this back. --Joe Llywelyn Griffith Blakesley talk contrib 19:01, 9 February 2006 (UTC)[reply]

This is no longer true, as post-Independence political articles increase. References to "Gandhi" commonly include the two Prime ministers by that name. I personally change many such links. I no longer think this is a permissible redirect; I shall await input. If I hear nothing, I will make the change in a few days. Hornplease 10:58, 21 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]

I think this page should indeed be directed to the disambig Gandhi page because of the prominence of the Gandhi dynasty, Mrs Gandhi et al. I'd appreciate some feedback, if I don't hear anything I'll do this in a couple of days. Thanks, SqueakBox 19:19, 27 December 2007 (UTC)[reply]
