New paragraphed added

[edit]

Hello, I've added a new paragraph to the culture section about the new Artist in residence program which was undone, with the critique that it wasn't notable. I've reversed this undo but would appreciate any help to make it better. The program is notable because his is the first of it's kind in Canada and demonstrates the governement support for the arts. Taxation information out of date

[edit]

Page is protected, so I cannot edit myself, but the Flat Tax of 10% was introduced in January of 2001 (https://www.alberta.ca/release.cfm?xID=10160) and was eliminated October 1, 2015 (https://www.taxtips.ca/priortaxrates/tax-rates-2015-2016/ab.htm) Daniel.legge (talk) 14:30, 8 January 2019 (UTC)Daniel Legge[reply]

Dispute about Infobox content

[edit]

An issue has come up: should the infobox to this article contain the field "government_type", filled in with "Parliamentary constitutional monarchy". Since this issue affects all ten provinces and the three territories, a Request for Comment has been started on the Canadian Wikipedians Notice Board. If you are interested in this issue, please come to the Notice Board and contribute to the discussion. Mr Serjeant Buzfuz (talk) 01:05, 3 July 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Not sure why provinces are compared to territories?

[edit]

IE for GDP or land area the comparison should be between provinces. Territories are not provinces, provinces are not territories and it really doesn't make sense to group them together in terms of ranking. 68.147.83.38 (talk) 03:49, 29 April 2023 (UTC)[reply]
