I (as someone who has never had anything to do with any of the Victoria Uni articles) strongly object to thjis page being converted back.

Of course Victoria University is not as important as the other institutions that still exist, but it is still (as the forerunner of no less than three leading British universities) important enough to have its own article. As it is the only institution called exactly 'Victoria University', its article should be at 'Victoria University'. Of course there should be a prominent link to the disambiguation page (as there was) as well, but at the end of the day, an article named 'Victoria University' should be about Vicotria University and not a list of links to vaguely similarly named articles. This is a Wikipedia policy.

Furthermore, the attempt to include some information on Victoria University in this article is flawed. Firstly, it contains far less information than previously and secondly, it creates a multi-purpose article that is again highly discouraged by Wikipedia (it makes pages difficult to categorise, etc).

Therefore I prepose changing things back to how they were.

Actually, Victoria University (University of Toronto) is called "exactly" Victoria University, not that it matters. Also, please sign your comments so we know who is saying what. Darkcore 00:16, 3 Aug 2004 (UTC)
Well let's at least move the British Victoria University out to its own page.
