Should the article note that the lower portion of this building is the model for the White Castle hamburger chain? Rlquall 23:54, 5 Apr 2005 (UTC)

The Water Tower has had some renovations/restoration on two occasions; 1913-1916 and 1978. Two reference items that might be useful: Chicago Water Tower, “Chicago Avenue Water Tower and Pumping Station,” [1] Chicago Water Tower, “Exploring Chicago,” [2]

Correction

[edit]

The article states that much of the city south of the river survived, but the south side as defined at the time (from the river south) sustained heavy damage. It was the west side that remained mostly untouched, even though the fire started there, because it blew east. So I'm changing the description of what was left untouched.—Preceding unsigned comment added by Icebox93 (talkcontribs)

Tower partially destroyed in 'Invasion The Abductors' arcade game. http://www.gamefaqs.com/arcade/582006-invasion-the-abductors. Not the best of cites but a cite. Lots42 (talk) 03:58, 14 September 2011 (UTC)[reply]
