After whom is this place named ? Jay 07:05, 10 Nov 2004 (UTC)

According to The Names of Maine by Brian McCauley (Acadia Press, 2004), Turner is named after a Reverend Charles Turner, orginally of Duxbury, Massaschusetts, who was associated somehow with the proprietors of what is now the town of Turner, and eventually settled in the area. Charlie and Carmen Bennet

Does anybody know Charlie and Carmen Bennet? My wife and I have been trying to get back in touch with them. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 74.237.247.174 (talk) 19:32, 27 May 2009 (UTC)[reply]
