Superpenguinnus Ad Salventem Nuntium Jinnis Respondet

[edit]

Thanks for the welcome, Djinn. Actually my forte is Electrical engineering with a focus on microelectronics; computers (specifically operating systems and older hardware) are just a hobby. I'm mostly here to correct minor issues as I run across them, but it's likely I'll write an article if I ever see a blaring omission that needs to be remedied... --uberpenguin 22:39, 2004 Oct 22 (UTC)

Fortunatus Undeseptuagintidecimi Jinni De Pagina Electronici Organi Dicet

[edit]

Hi! Glad you're here. I found the printout of an e-mail that I thought I'd lost. Back in April, Pea Hix of optigan.com suggested some changes to the article for accuracy's sake and gave permission to use photos from the site. I'm claiming fair use.

If there's anything you care to add, please do as I'd like to nominate this as a featured article. Thanks!! - Lucky 6.9 04:35, 25 Oct 2004 (UTC)

Indiceret Nihil De Pagina Eius Nova Locuti

[edit]

Hi, I noticed that Locutus only redirects to the Picard article and I figured it wouldn’t hurt to have a separate Locutus article so I pieced together one from using available articles that refer to Locutus. I thought you might want to have a look and correct any mistakes I made, and add to it. Greetings, Nought 02:01, 30 Oct 2004 (UTC)

Kyberia Jinni Letterarum Italicarum Nomeniumque Navium Dicet

[edit]

I changed the link because the article on the Romulan Bird of Prey happens to name a specific episode from a "specific series" (ie, Star Trek: The Original Series) and Balance of Terror which is an episode from that series, and not of the overall Star Trek universe in general. I think it should be changed IMO. Cyberia23 23:59, 12 Nov 2004 (UTC)

Oh and go to StarTrek.com where they always use "U.S.S." in front of ship names. I go by what they do, plus I spent 4 years in the U.S. Navy, and we always spelled it the same way. Wikipedia's standard is wrong. Cyberia23 00:04, 13 Nov 2004 (UTC)

I had previously asked a question here but the question actually belonged in the Help desk, so I asked there and got the answer. I now see why you removed extra spacing from an article and how to adjust my stylesheet so that I see the spacing as wider. I'm going to go find every page I edited with extra spacing and take it out. Sorry for the clutter on your page; I've just removed the questions. Bebop 21:38, 16 Nov 2004 (UTC)
