Hi

[edit]

I noticed that you fixed a minor mistake on the Juan Sabia article I just created. You've been here so much longer than I have and no-one has talked to you, so I thought I'd say hi, kind regards, King of the NorthEast 03:20, 17 November 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Error

[edit]

I wanted to add that the two planes filled each other's windscreens. It's a copy paste error. WhisperToMe (talk) 04:29, 1 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]

A570

[edit]

Hello Jhf

I just corrected the article of Amiga_A570 external CD-ROM reader that presented some obscure passages, and I hope I made it more clear and understandable.

Onan

[edit]

Hi. Would you like to consider whether Cummins#Cummins Power Generation (formerly Onan) might not be a better wikilink for Onan than 'Onan (disambiguation). Just a thought. Cheers Bjenks (talk) 02:25, 21 February 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Thks for reply on my Talk page. (a) It's no big deal, and my interest came via former owner Studebaker; (b) The Onan company doesn't exist any more. So if you don't mind, I'll just close the circuit by linking as I suggested. That will lead a reader to some valid information, as against an unhelpful fork in the road. Hi,

I've added the parameters you suggested on the template talk. They've also been added to the documentation. Any questions, please feel free to contact me. Chris Cunningham (not at work) - talk 09:13, 11 March 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Nuyorican persistent vandal

[edit]

I notice you and I have been rather patiently reverting a vandal who has been repeatedly inserting the same racist material into Nuyorican. I'm about to go on a trip for two weeks, and I won't be around to swat this gnat.

Could you report this at AIV or perhaps get an admin to semi-protect the page?

I appreciate your help. --StaniStani  15:37, 7 May 2009 (UTC)[reply]

I don't think escalating to AIV or semi-protection are necessary yet, and I don't want to "dignify" the vandalism with such a response. I'll try to check the page more often if you are going to be away, and continue to revert it. jhf (talk) 04:00, 8 May 2009 (UTC)[reply]

ArbCom 2020 Elections voter message

[edit]
Hello! Voting in the 2020 Arbitration Committee elections is now open until 23:59 (UTC) on Monday, 7 December 2020. All eligible users are allowed to vote. Users with alternate accounts may only vote once.

The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to impose binding solutions to disputes between editors, primarily for serious conduct disputes the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the authority to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail.

If you wish to participate in the 2020 election, please review the candidates and submit your choices on the voting page. If you no longer wish to receive these messages, you may add {{NoACEMM}} to your user talk page. MediaWiki message delivery (talk) 01:15, 24 November 2020 (UTC)[reply]
