"(some claim he deliberately stayed too far south on his Dutch-funded voyage)"

Unless someone can provide a citation in support of this statement from an acceptable source, I believe it should be deleted.

Not done: it's not clear what changes you want to be made. Please mention the specific changes in a "change X to Y" format and provide a reliable source if appropriate. casualdejekyll 13:42, 14 March 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Under heading "Expedition of 1609", 4th paragraph, last line: change "reaching a point about where the present-day capital of Albany is located" to "reaching a point near Kinderhook while the ship’s boat with a handful of crew members ventured to the vicinity of present-day Albany."

Citation: Collier, Edward Augustus, A History of Old Kinderhook from Aboriginal Days to the Present Time: Including the Story of the Early Settlers, Their Homesteads, Their Traditions, and Their Descendants; with an Account of Their Civic, Social, Political, Educational, and Religious Life, New York: G. In case you need additional evidence or citation, here is a link to a comprehensive article detailing all the evidence that Henry Hudson sailed the Half Moon only as far as Kinderhook while the ship's boat explored upriver to where present-day Albany is located: https://www.saugertieslighthouse.com/slc/wp-content/uploads/2022/10/HalfMoonandHudsonRiver.pdf Landfaraway (talk) 12:58, 27 October 2022 (UTC)[reply]

remove the citation message Bhater13cm (talk) 17:39, 12 April 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Not done: I don't think it's an unreasonable message at this time - the first three paragraphs of that section are entirely uncited. PianoDan (talk) 18:06, 12 April 2024 (UTC)[reply]
