341 Field Regiment is part of the Regiment of Artillery of the Indian Army.
History
[edit]341 Fd Regt commenced raising on 01 Jul 2015 with Col Kapil C Jodh as the first Comdg Offr. First colour was taken over by the Regt on 14 Aug 2015. The Regt has AIAC composition with 208 Arty units having contributed towards the raising manpower. The Regt successfully completed its validation firing at MFFR on 09 Feb 2016 & the same day is celebrated as the ‘Raising Day’ by the unit. The Regt has adopted the motto “SADAIVA NIRBHEEK” which translates to “ALWAYS FEARLESS” to motivate tps to persevere in daunting circumstances in war or peace with Regt war cry “DURGE MATA KI JAI”. Regt recd its first souvenir from 80 Med Regt in form a memento. In the early years of its raising the Regt proved its mettle and lifted Bde Championship banner for the trg yr 2017-18. The Regt emerged as champion in Bde X-Country Championship 2017-18, Bde Basketball Competition 2017-18, Bde Aquatics Championship 2017-18. Regt also lifted trophy of Bde Basketball championship 2019-20 alongwith Bde Volleyball Championship in the trg yr 2020-21 & 2021-22. The Regt has also proved its mettle in professional competitions and was adjudged as champion in Bde Line Laying Competition 2017-18, Bde Mine Laying Competition 2017-18 & Bde Gun Drill Competition 2017-18. The Regt actively participated in Op ZAFRAN in 2019. The Regt carried out its first SD mov on 27 Apr 2022 & underwent conversion during the months of May & Jun 2022. Regt has participated in Op Snow Leopard and Op Teesta (2023). Nine OR of the Regt have been awarded with GOC-in-C Commendation and one OR with VCOAS Commendation since its inception. The Regt has also proved its pinnacular performance in courses wherein it has produced 11 x course toppers, 83 x ‘A’ gradings, 19 x ‘Instr’ gradings, 01 x Distinguish grading, 16 x Competitive exam clearers, 08 x AIGs & 05 x IGs.
