I just noticed that the limit for the free version of the Copernic Desktop Search is actually 25.000 files (see Copernic Search Soultion Comparaison) and not 10.000 files anymore.

Kvasir - Norwegian search engine

[edit]

Consider adding the Norwegian search engine Kvasir to the list, it's fairly unique as (according to this Norwegian Wikipedia entry) there are only four other countries that have search engine specialised for local results as Kvasir does.

The Norweigian wiki would seem to be wrong. There are more such engines already on our list. At any rate, this is a list of engines with preexisting English Wikipedia articles. MrOllie (talk) 20:55, 31 August 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Kvasir seems to only point to a google CSE form, they don't have their own index. 4luul4 (talk) 13:44, 7 August 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Should Google be added under individual specialized search engine sub list?

Videos, shopping, map, news, image, books, finance? The tabs are sonetimes present, sometimes not. Core tabs are always present. Greatder (talk) 16:42, 8 April 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Exalead as a company is dead since 2014 and as something withing Dassault Systèmes does not exist anymore since 28 February 2024. It should be moved to the "Defunct or acquired search engines" section.

Please add the search engine 4get.ca. It's a metasearch engine comparable to Searx that's been running for a few years. 4luul4 (talk) 13:48, 7 August 2024 (UTC)[reply]
