Siege

[edit]

When was it first made 2A02:C7E:28FA:D000:5DA9:ECEF:D229:E084 (talk) 19:00, 24 January 2023 (UTC)[reply]

fire rate of a trebuchet?

[edit]

Captions says: "Medieval trebuchets could sling about two projectiles per hour at enemy positions." Seems a bit slow to reload. MACND (talk) 18:49, 26 March 2023 (UTC)[reply]

UNDUE material removed

[edit]

I removed this material as this was undue. It went into details that are completely irrelevant to this article. Nor are any of the "sieges" mentioned anything significant in the history of siege warfare, in fact most sources don't really even apply the term "siege" when describing them. Interestingly, the one instance of siege from this time period that did involve fortifications (Battle of the Trench) wasn't even mentioned. The material was added in this edit.VR talk 22:58, 15 September 2023 (UTC)[reply]
