VLC media player

[edit]

I just fixed your reversion on VLC media player. Did you think that editing an old version would carry the changes through subsequent edits? When you do that, it becomes the current version and is known as a reversion. You didn't just remove the one paragraph, but reverted three subsequent edits, which I've added back in. Be more careful in future. Imroy 23:01, 9 March 2006 (UTC)[reply]

No, it was a mistake, I thought I was editing the current version. Dunno how this slipped through I normally always doublecheck my changes with "Show preview". Thanks for taking care of the issue. DonDiego 16:57, 10 March 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Re: deletion of Thread Hijacking

[edit]

I restored Thread hijacking, as part of our proposed deletion contestation procedure. That being said, I will probably send it to AfD in a near future. I know that Grammar Nazi was deleted a few days ago, I don't think Thread hijacking is more notable. -- lucasbfr talk 00:11, 6 December 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Re: diseased/deceased

[edit]

Yes, I do mean that. I'm afraid my English is not top-notch. Thanks for pointing out that one error.--Ivo Emanuel Gonçalves talk / contribs (join WP:PT) 23:05, 5 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page.
