1982 - Ray Mancini defeats Duk Koo Kim in a bout that changes the landscape of boxing forever.

How? I admit I don't follow the sport, but this is the first I'vew heard of any Korean hegemony 20 years ago. --Charles A. L. 13:19, Nov 13, 2003 (UTC)

Duk Koo Kim (why is that backwards?) clarified, but "change[d] the landscape of boxing forever." had a whiff of unencyclopediacness about it. --Charles A. L. 14:14, Nov 13, 2003 (UTC)

Births and Deaths

[edit]

Continuing the ongoing effort to reduce the size of the Births and Deaths sections to make them manageable, I'm removing some celebrities with few or no articles in other wikipedias, moving the entries to the appropriate Year in Topic article if they were not already present. This is in accordance with the guidelines. Deb (talk) 11:53, 23 October 2015 (UTC)[reply]
