- Phoenix Object Basic is the Linux version of Envelop which was created as a free clone of and competiter of Visual Basic, Phoenix Object Basic is at v 1.5 and will most likly not be upgraded as the company that made it seems to have gone out of business.

I can confirm all this and have inserted the most important data into the article. It is important to refer to Envelop since Phoenix is only a port of Envelop for Linux.
