I've looked at the Pennywise article & followed up the link to the All Music entry, and can find no reason to believe that the band's name is ever abbreviated to PW. Is this just an attempt to advertise the band's article? Mel Etitis (Μελ Ετητης) 16:09, 11 Feb 2005 (UTC)

PW is an abreviation for "potable water" in plumbing. As a rating on pipes and fittings, it means it can be used for potable water, and is pressure rated. (I'm not a plumber, so I didn't put this directly into the artical)
