Egil: the population of Alta, Utah is misleading.. It is a major ski resort in Utah that gets 500,000 skiers every winter.. I don't know Alta, Norway, but I would guess it does not get that many tourists...

Alta (given name)

Bungie Studios (now Bungie, LLC) had an member named Alta Hartmann at one point. It seems like there should possibly be an entry here about the name itself, but I don't know anything about it (such as whether it's common or unusual). --DocumentN (talk) 21:01, 3 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]
