StarFox Command

[edit]

Please, there is already an article for this page. Edit there, not at the one that should be a redirect. Ryūlóng 06:44, 31 July 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Hiya! Regarding your attempted move of the article Star Fox Command to StarFox Command: First of all, the already-established naming convention for Star Fox games is that there is a space between the words Star and Fox. (See Star Fox, Star Fox 64). Second of all, when you're moving an article from one name to another, it's not advised to simply copy and paste the article from one space to the other. This obscures the edit history of the article. It's better to simply click the "move" tab up at the top of the page and move it that way. That way a redirect is created for you AND the edit history remains! I'm going to edit it back so that StarFox Command redirects to Star Fox Command, and I'd appreciate it if you discussed it with either me or Talk:Star Fox Command before changing it back. Thanks, Mo0[talk] 06:46, 31 July 2006 (UTC)[reply]

If you do another copy-paste move, your editting priveleges may be revoked. Ryūlóng 06:48, 31 July 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Image tagging for Image:Time Machine.png

[edit]

Thanks for uploading Image:Time Machine.png. The image has been identified as not specifying the source and creator of the image, which is required by Wikipedia's policy on images. If you don't indicate the source and creator of the image on the image's description page, it may be deleted some time in the next seven days. If you have uploaded other images, please verify that you have provided source information for them as well.

For more information on using images, see the following pages:

Horse-monkey

[edit]
"The Horse-monkey is a mythological beast resembling both a monkey and a horse. The extreme uncommon usage of this beast is partially due to its fictitious roots stemmed from Obar, the great and vicious Ovimbundu god of speed. The Horse-monkey is believed to originate from the 8th century in the Holy Roman Empire, however this is subject to dispute."

Shame on you for writing such nonsense articles. Shame on us for not blocking you sooner. -- Infrogmation 03:36, 29 January 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Orphaned fair use image (Image:Meebo logo.png)

[edit]

Thanks for uploading Image:Meebo logo.png. The image description page currently specifies that the image is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, the image is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the image was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that images for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable under fair use (see our fair use policy).

If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that any fair use images not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. Disputed fair use rationale for Image:Call me Miss.jpg

[edit]

Thanks for uploading Image:Call me Miss.jpg. However, there is a concern that the rationale you have provided for using this image under "fair use" may be invalid. Please read the instructions at Wikipedia:Non-free content carefully, then go to the image description page and clarify why you think the image qualifies for fair use. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to ensure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If it is determined that the image does not qualify under fair use, it will be deleted within a couple of days according to our criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the media copyright questions page. Thank you.BetacommandBot (talk) 04:13, 12 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]
